Laura currently volunteers, engaging those in need in painting.

She works with children undergoing treatment for cancer for the Children's Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center's Valerie Fund. She also volunteers with Alzheimer patients in
Eatontown, NJ, at the Jersey Shore Genesis Center. Laura donated art to The
Center in Asbury which provided 25 homeless individuals with homes.

On October 5, 2007, her art was auctioned off at their garden party which raised much needed funds for the organization.

Laura also will host the Youth for a Purpose Group at her studio for art and poetry. This group is a division of the Mercy Center in Asbury Park, NJ.
